Book reading is almost a daily habit I do with my 4y old boy before we go to bed. He likes to read book a lot and he's always fascinated with different stories I read to him. One of the books I had the opportunity to review lately is this one.

Lexi Fairheart had a problem. She hated closed doors and had to know what is on the other side of each and every door.
In the past, this led to all kinds of wonderful discoveries but one day while Lexi was visiting Grandpa, she went round a corner, up a flight of stairs and stood in front of a massive green door. She had an eerie feeling that this was one door that was better left closed, but she couldn't help herself and went ahead anyway . . .
The Lexi Fairheart and The Forbidden Door is a simple book reading specifically for young kids. It tells the story of a little girl who is always very curious of things around her.
One time, she did something which was forbidden for her to do which eventually led her to an accidental discovery. Her story nonetheless teaches children to be honest and always tell the truth. Curiosity can sometimes either lead to good things or misadventures.
Likewise the story reminds older person to always provide proper guidance to young children and patiently explain to them why there are set rules that needs to be followed.
I recommend this book to parents with young and curious kids same as my 4 year old boy, who always asks lots of questions.
