A Blurb on the Met’s Abueva: The Power of Form Exhibition
Following the success of the first “Abueva: The Power of Form” lecture series last month, the Metropolitan Museum of Manila brings to the public two more Abueva lectures this February! Art critic and historian, Cid Reyes will give a talk on “Pioneering Modern Philippine Sculpture” while artist and sculptor Jun Yee will be giving homage to his mentor on his talk entitled, “Abueva: Through the Eyes of an Artist.” Lectures will be held on February 15, 2014 and February 22, 2014 respectively at 3PM at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila, BSP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Manila. Museum entrance fee is inclusive of the admission for the talks.
